Plug-in Hybrid

The demands made on today’s cars are as diverse as the solutions Mercedes-Benz has developed to meet them. More dynamic, more efficient, more intelligent; the new Plug-in Hybrid range from Mercedes-Benz is an important step towards the mobility of the future. A Mercedes-Benz Plug-in Hybrid is still first and foremost a Mercedes-Benz without any compromise on safety and with an extra dimension of excitement as standard.

Plug-in Hybrid vehicles combine performance with sensational fuel consumption figures. In a Plug-in Hybrid, both the electric motor and the combustion engine are connected to the drive train. This arrangement allows the vehicle’s High Voltage (HV) battery to be recharged not only regeneratively, but also via a power socket or a charging station.

Benefits of hybrid:
  • Innovative vehicles with sustainable technology
  • More efficiency and dynamism without compromising on comfort or safety
  • A new driving sensation thanks to smooth acceleration and quiet, smooth running
  • Reduced fuel costs
  • Convenience achieved through recharging your car at home with a domestic power socket or at a wallbox charger
  • Low-consumption and low-emission driving

Safe, fast, convenient charging.

To charge your Plug-in Hybrid model you can either utilise a power cable which plugs into a normal wall socket or you can have your very own charging station at home with a Mercedes-Benz wall box.

The advantage of the wall box is that it halves the charging time when compared to the wall socket charger. The option to purchase a wall box from Mercedes-Benz ensures installation is carried out professionally and is compatible with current Mercedes-Benz Plug-in Hybrid vehicles.
